The international online training of "THE TRAINING OF COACHES IN A NEW DEVELOPED AND APPROVED CLINICAL PROTOCOL ON DRUG-RESISTANT TUBERCULOSIS " was held within the 25-28 of January, 2021and organized by the World Health Organization.
The training was attended by the national trainers among the medical specialists providing anti-tuberculosis care in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
 
The training was conducted with the aim of gaining to knowledge in accordance to the new WHO recommendations for the treatment of drug-resistant tuberculosis (DR-TB), the formation of basic skills for organizing and conducting training of medical specialists for the provision of TB care to patients in accordance to the new WHO recommendations for the treatment of DR -TB.
 
 
During the training, the specialists of the National Tuberculosis Program not just only mastered new approaches to the treatment of drug-resistant tuberculosis, but also acquired skills in presenting educational material and working with the audience in an interactive format. During this year, the trainings are being planned to further transfer the acquired knowledge to doctors of the TB service and the primary health care network.
 
In Kazakhstan, all modern and internationally recognized methods of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis have been introduced, that make it possible to detect tuberculosis within two hours and start the treatment. Diagnostics and treatment of tuberculosis in Kazakhstan are free of charge. If you have symptoms that are suspicious of tuberculosis, immediately contact your local doctor at the local polyclinic for an examine tuberculosis.
 
The early detection is the key to a successful and complete cure for tuberculosis!   Reminding that the symptoms of tuberculosis are coughing or its duration is for two weeks or more, low-grade fever (37.2 C), weight loss, increased fatigue, night sweats. The presence of a cough and one of the listed symptoms may indicate the presence of tuberculosis. Remember this and take care of your health in a timely manner!
