The pharmacovigilance training in Almaty
The training “Actual issues of pharmacovigilance in the DR TB patients on ITR” ToT, including the issues of active drug-safety monitoring of medicines for treatment of the M/XDR TB patients using new and reprofiled TB drugs, was for the first time held on 19-23 October 2020 in Almaty for the OPC/TBO pharmacovigilance responsible specialists within the implementation of the GF grant project for the period of 2020-2022. A head of the pharmacovigilance department of NCEM of RK from Nur-Sultan and the international partners (USAID ETICA Project, GF PIU), an international consultant and the NSCP specialists participated in this training. 
 
 
 
This activity will assist NTP in implementation of the National Plan activities to improve a pharmacovigilance procedure and aDSM. During the training, the specialists were introduced to the innovation in pharmacovigilance in RK, qualitative completion of card-messages for the medicines and medical products, tactics of adverse events management, as well as obtained training skills on the pharmacovigilance issues in the TB program. Upon completion of the training, the certificates were given out to the participants.
